Montrose
This gem in the heart of Montrose specializes in craft beer, cocktails, and delicious food with coastal Mexican flair.
Built in the 1930’s, La Grange’s home was first a horse hospital, then the popular bar EJ’s.
Now, its modern-eclectic redesign and creative menu are obsession-worthy.
Make sure to try one of their signature cocktails like the Carlos Danger, made with jalapeño-infused tequila and pineapple.
SO. GOOD.

Wicklow Heights
Heights
Converted from a 1930’s bungalow, Wicklow Heights is now the place to go in the Heights for a classy cocktail in a relaxed setting.
Here, you’ll find top-notch service, an adorably inviting garden patio, and creative signature cocktails for every palate.
I’m loving everything lavender right now, so I highly recommend the Better Half, or the Love Child!
Getting around Houston
If you’re visiting Houston, you’ll definitely need your own car.
The city is super spread out, and Ubering everywhere really adds up.
I highly recommend booking a rental car through RentalCars.com.
Personally, I use them every time I plan a trip.
I LOVE that they compare prices across every company at once, which saves a ton of time hunting down the best deals.
Less time researching, more time exploring right??
