1. Underwear
Let’s take it from the top!
Or… the bottom?
Either way, getting this right is the first step to staying comfortable and fresh while you’re out on the slopes.
I recommend packing all synthetic fabric underwear, so they wick sweat quickly.
I love this 5-pack of seamless thongs on Amazon because they’re perfectly simple and affordable.
2. Sports bra
The same goes for your bra.
You’ll want the girls to be nice and comfortable in a sweat-wicking sports bra.
I recommend this sports bra from Amazon, which is a great value and comes in a bunch of colors.

3. Base layer
Next is your base layer.
This layer is important for retaining your body’s warmth and keeping you dry.
You’ll want good thermal tops and leggings, like this thermal layer set from Amazon.
4. Mid layer
Now, on to the mid-layer.
This is your insulating layer, which you can put on when it gets chilly, or peel off on warm days.
This full-zip fleece from Amazon is a perfect choice.

5. Outer layer– pants
Finally, the outer layer that protects you from the elements and gives some added warmth.
Having a pair of waterproof snow pants is absolutely essential to keeping you dry on the slopes.
(Especially if you’re new and falling a lot!)
I recommend these snow pants from Amazon, which I’ve even worn skiing in -20° temperatures!
Or, you could opt for a bib like this ski bib from Amazon for some added warmth under your ski jacket on cold days, or to go jacketless on warm days.

6. Outer layer– jacket
Of course, you need your ski jacket!
Having a cute and waterproof ski jacket like this one from Amazon is the finishing touch to the perfect ski trip outfit.
(I’ve also worn this jacket skiing in -20° temperatures!)

7. Outer layer– ski suit
optional
A ski suit is an alternative option for a super cute, retro look.
I only recommend this for skiers, and NOT snowboarders.
Snowboarders usually opt for baggier styles, which are more comfortable for all of the bending down, sitting, and strapping in.
But if you want to feel like the ultimate snow bunny, I recommend this adorable and affordable ski suit from Amazon.

8. Gloves
Of course, to keep your hands warm you’ll need some waterproof gloves or mittens like this pair from Amazon.
When you’re off the slopes, I recommend picking up a pair of touchscreen glove liners like these from Amazon.
They help keep your hands warm while you use your phone and take pictures, so you don’t have to take your gloves off!
9. Goggles
Affordable goggles have gotten SO much cuter than when I first started skiing!
These days, you can literally pick up a pair of goggles like these from Amazon, and people will think you’ve spent hundreds of dollars on high-end goggles because they look so good.
(And then they’ll be shocked when you say they’re from Amazon lol, true story!)
And if you’re wondering about performance, I skied in -20° temperatures in those and they worked great!

10. Socks
Ski socks are a must on any ski trip packing list.
They’re specially designed to wick sweat, which is crucial for your feet to stay warm all day on the slopes.
I recommend these ski socks from Amazon.

11. Beanie
I feel like this one is pretty self-explanatory!
A warm beanie (or two) is crucial for a ski trip packing list.
My favorite is this cute neutral beanie from Amazon that matches everything.
Keep in mind, these days it’s the norm to wear a helmet on the slopes, which you can rent with your ski gear.
So a beanie is more so for après-ski!
12. Helmet
optional
Like I mentioned earlier, it’s the norm to wear a helmet on the slopes now.
(Basically, safety is cool now!)
As in, people on social media will actually shame you if you don’t wear one lol.
With that said, you can always rent a helmet with your ski gear.
But if you’re not a fan of sharing headgear with strangers (or you just want your own cute helmet), you can always pick up your own for pretty cheap.
I like this ski helmet from Amazon– it’s aesthetic and super affordable!
13. Earmuffs
If you love the snow bunny look as much as me, a cute pair of fuzzy earmuffs is a must!
I have this pair of earmuffs from Amazon, and it’s perfect!
14. Face warmer
On cold or windy days, you’ll definitely want a face warmer.
The simplest option is something like this gaiter from Amazon you can easily pull up onto your face.
15. Belt bag
A belt bag is the perfect way to keep essentials like money and chapstick at hand, without having to dig through all of your pockets to find them.
I recommend this belt bag from Amazon.

16. Sunscreen stick
Did you know that UV rays are even stronger when they’re reflected off of snow?
That means you’ll want to have some SPF on hand to reapply throughout the day to protect your skin.
A sunscreen stick is the most convenient option so you can easily reapply without taking your gloves off!
This is my favorite sunscreen stick from Amazon.
17. Lip balm
The cold, wind, and sun can absolutely destroy your lips if you don’t have lip balm on your ski trip packing list!
And if your lip balm has SPF, even better.
I love this SPF 30 lip balm from Amazon.
18. Moisturizer
Similar to your lips, the skin on your nose and cheeks can get really dry when you’re on the slopes exposed to the elements all day.
So I like to carry a small tube of moisturizer when I ski.
I like this travel-sized moisturizer from Amazon.

19. Tissue packs
This is something nobody ever talks about!
But when it gets cold on the mountain, you’re bound to get a runny nose at some point.
(And it feels kinda gross to wipe it on your sleeve or face warmer– from experience lol)
So I always keep a travel pack of tissues like these from Amazon on me when I ski.
20. Hand warmers
Do you really need hand warmers?
Well… I’ll say I’ve never regretted having them.
In short, you’ll probably prefer having hand warmers over wishing that you did!
(And they’re always overpriced at the lodge gift shop.)
So I recommend picking up a pack of hand warmers from Amazon just in case.
21. Snow boots
If you want to slay the après, a cute pair of snow boots is a MUST.
You can never go wrong with Sorel, and these Sorel snow boots on Amazon are perfect for keeping your feet warm and giving you good traction on slippery ground.
Or, opt for a trendier look with a statement pair of Moon Boots on Amazon.

22. Sunglasses
You’ll definitely want a cute pair of sunglasses on your ski trip packing list.
They’ll help protect your eyes from the UV rays reflected off of snow when you’re not wearing your goggles
These retro-style oval glasses from Amazon are super popular right now and match everything.

23. Cozy clothes
If one of your favorite parts of a ski trip is coming back to a cozy cabin, getting into cozy clothes, and just being cozy… we should be best friends.
I love this cozy sweater from Amazon that totally looks more expensive than it is.
Want to see more options? Check out my Amazon storefront for all your ski trip essentials.
24. Pajamas
Of course you’ll need cute and comfy pajamas– enough said.
This pajama set from Amazon is perfect for relaxing and sleeping in.

25. Slippers
A comfy pair of slippers helps keep your feet warm while you’re lounging in your hotel or airbnb.
These are my go-to slippers from Amazon.
(In fact, I’m wearing them right now lol!)
